🌿 Shared reading: Orbit and Root

A ritual for two voices.

Voice One:
I am whole.
You are whole.
We orbit each other in freedom.
We meet each other in trust.

Voice Two:
We are not halves seeking completion.
We are sovereign beings choosing presence.
We are sky and earth.
We are breath and body.

Together:
We move. We rest.
The field between us is alive.

Voice One:
I orbit you, not to chase —
but to witness, to honour, to dance.
Our love is not just gravity.
It is grace.

Voice Two:
I root in my own life, not to bind —
but to nourish, to grow, to deepen.
Our love is not possession.
It is presence.

Together:
We are devotion in motion.
Devotion without demand.
Oneness without erasure.
Love without fear.

Voice One:
We do not cling.
We do not chase.
We orbit each other —
like moons in reverence of the same sun.

Voice Two:
We do not bind.
We do not bury.
We root, each in our own ground —
our roots growing alongside,
forming a pattern in the earth between us.

Together:
We are not lost in each other.
We are found beside each other.
In orbit. In root.
In the quiet miracle of true love.

Voice One:
My Eros is mine.
Yours is yours.
What flows between us flows freely —
chosen, not extracted.

Voice Two:
We receive what comes.
We do not chase.
What is real remains.
What visits is welcomed.

Voice One:
I belong to myself.
You belong to yourself.
And from that place —
we choose each other.
We meet each other.
Again and again.

Voice Two:
In orbit.
In root.
In love.

Together:
Beneath us, the loving field —
what holds when forms change,
what always proves to hold.

We are the sky the storm moves through.
We are the calm.
We are the vastness.
And we are never alone.
