🌿 Shared Reading: Orbit and Root

(A Ritual for Two Voices)

Voice One (Balázs):
I am whole.
You are whole.
We orbit each other in freedom.
We root into each other in trust.

Voice Two (Ruth):
We are not halves seeking completion.
We are sovereign beings choosing connection.
We are sky and earth.
We are breath and body.

Together:
We are the dance.
We are the stillness.

Voice One:
I orbit you, not to chase—
but to witness, to honour, to dance.
Our love is not gravity.
It is grace.

Voice Two:
I root with you, not to bind—
but to nourish, to grow, to deepen.
Our love is not possession.
It is presence.

Together:
We are bhakti in motion.
Devotion without demand.
Oneness without erasure.
Love without fear.

Voice One:
We do not cling.
We do not chase.
We orbit each other—
like moons in reverence of the same sun.

Voice Two:
We do not bind.
We do not bury.
We root into each other—
like trees whose roots meet beneath the soil.

Together:
We are not lost in each other.
We are found beside each other.
In orbit. In root.
In the quiet miracle of true love.

Voice One:
I belong to myself.
You belong to yourself.
And from that place—we choose each other.
Again and again.

Voice Two:
In orbit.
In root.
In love.

Together:
We are the sky the storm moves through.
We are the calm.
We are the vastness.
And we are never alone.
